PT IFARS PHARMACEUTICAL LABORATORIES (PT IFARS) was founded in 1974 and manufactures prescription (ethical) medicines, over-the-counter (OTC) medicines, and food supplements.

The products come in the following forms:

  1. Solid (tablet, caplet, and capsule)
  2. Liquid (syrup, suspension/emulsion, and dry suspension)
  3. Semi-solid (cream, gel, and ointment)

The company also operates a beta-lactam facility to produce penicillin antibiotics, cephalosporin antibiotics, and their derivatives.

Currently, the company produces various medicines across multiple therapeutic classes, with over 200 brands and their variants. This wide product range offers more choices for customers and users.

The company's products are marketed nationwide through its distribution network.
